The Satellites made a very explosive start to the game and opened the scoring account in just two minutes courtesy former Black Starlets captain Benjamin Tsivanyo
The Young Elephants levelled the score ten minutes later through Abdoul Goudousse Bamba who scored with a cool finish
In the 70th minute, Ali Kone found the back of the net to hand the Ivorians the lead for the first time in the game as it finished 2-1 after full-time
The Black Satellites haven’t won the competition since 2020 but will have their trophy drought extended
