The Black Stars of Ghana have left the shores of the country en route to Morocco for the game against Madagascar next week in match-day six of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The four-time African champions enhanced their qualification chances with an emphatic 5-0 win over Chad last night in Accra to climb to the summit of Group I with 12 points.
Five different players namely; Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu and Ernest Nuamah were all on the scoresheet to power the team to s convincing victory to set the capital fans in raptures.
After their recovery this morning, the Black Stars have left for Morocco already, Al Hoceima precisely, and are expected to arrive later today to begin preparations for the epic clash coming up.
Ghana won the first leg narrowly by 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium in November 2023, thanks to a late winner from Inaki Williams and the Malagasy are poised for nothing but a revenge this time around.
The game is slated for 19:00GMT on Monday, March 24, at the Stade Mimoun Al Arsi.
