Head coach Cioaba Aristica has applauded his players for their discipline and commitment following Aduana FC’s impressive 3-0 victory over Techiman Liberty Youth FC in the quarter-final of the MTN FA Cup.
The Fire Boys produced a dominant display to book their place in the semi-finals of the competition, with the team showing control and composure throughout the encounter.
Burkinabé international Daouda Sedibe, Alex Boakye, and Emmanuel Marfo all found the back of the net to secure the comfortable victory.
Speaking after the match, the Romanian tactician expressed satisfaction with the team’s recent performances, noting that back-to-back victories recently have boosted their confidence heading into subsequent matches.
“The players were serious in the game. They respected the game plan today to win the game. Congratulations to the players, and now we wait for the next game,” Aristica said.
“In our last game, we won 2-0; now we have won 3-0, which gives us confidence. We are trying to have a good organisation in our team. We only have a small problem in the team but now things are improving and we are happy.”
With the win, Aduana FC move a step closer to their target of lifting the FA Cup this season and will face Nations FC in the semi-final stage of the competition.
