Both Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Danlad Ibrahim have been included in coach Otto Addo's Black Stars provisional squad ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will be held next month in Qatar.
The Borussia Dortmund trainer is expected to release the list of 35-55 players by the close of this week but will be trimmed down to 26 subsequently.
Two home-based players Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Danlad Ibrahim have started the season well, from where they ended last season with both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko where they the FA Cup and GPL respectively for their various clubs.
Again, they both contributed immensely to help the Black Galaxies qualify for the 2023 African Nations Championship after missing out in the last three editions.
Again, the two were in action once again for the Black Meteors last Sunday in Maputo to help them beat Mozambique in the first leg and will be hoping to move into the next round of the CAF U-23 Championship qualifiers.
With their stellar and consistent performance for both club and countries, these two locally-based per reports have been included to the Black Stars provisional man list for the Mundial.
Ghana is drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and two time world champions Uruguay.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will start on November 20, 2022.
