According to Dreams FC General Manager Ameenu Shadow, he is currently in talks with the Ghana Football Association about potentially becoming the next team manager of the Black Stars.
While earlier reports had suggested that Shadow had already been appointed as the national team's manager for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers, he clarified in an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM that there has been no confirmation of his appointment yet, although discussions are ongoing.

The Black Stars, who currently lead Group E of the qualifiers with four points, are set to host Angola on March 23, 2023 at the Baba Yara Stadium, with the reverse fixture taking place in Luanda four days later.
Following Angola's four-point tally, Central African Republic and Madagascar currently occupy the third and fourth positions, respectively.
