Skipper of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew, has emphasized the need to be ready for any debate that will surface when ascending to a leadership role.
Ayew made some vital points when delivering a lecture on sports psychology at the University of Ghana. The Le Havre star urged the next Black Stars captain to be ready for any debate that will come up.
"There will always be a debate sooner or later. The next one who is coming, there will be another debate, the next one who is coming in the next 10 years, there will be another debate.
"Anybody who is going to be the leader of our national team should be ready for it. There are things you just need to learn from, prepare and let it brush off," Ayew said.
When Andre Ayew was appointed tha captain, there was huge debate and controversy that erupted.
However, sooner or later, the Black Stars captain's armband will be given to someone else and take the place of Andre Ayew.
