The Black Queens of Ghana earlier this morning got pummelled by an emphatic 4-0 against the Nadeshiko Japan in an international friendly game at the Go Go Kanazawa Stadium.

Head coach Nora Hauptle named a very strong line up that comprised of skipper Portia Boakye, Doris Boaduwaa, Evelyn Badu, Grace Asantewaa etc, with Princella Adubea surprisingly not making the cut.

The Japanese made an explosive start with Tanaka Mina coming so close to scoring but hit the crossbar instead and also forced a great save from goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan- who was called to duty twice in the opening fifteen minutes.

The Queens got reduced to ten women on the 23rd minute after captain Portia Boakye was given the matching orders after a harsh tackle on an opposing player.

After being held to a goalless draw at half time, the 2011 world champions returned explosively this time and got the opener in just seven minutes from the break through Tanaka Mina.

Chelsea's Maika Hamano subsequently doubled the lead before two other goals from Aoba Fujini and Riko Ueki sealed the win for the Nadeshiko Japan who will use this to test their strength ahead of the Olympic Games which commences next month.

The Black Queens have also been engaged in a real test and is this will be their third defeat in over year under the Swiss gaffer and will also use this to prepare for the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
