Asante Kotoko head coach, Abdul Karim Zito has announced his 20-man squad lfor tomorrow’s crunchy President Cup game against bitter rivals Hearts of Oak
The President Cup is organized annually to celebrate every sitting President of Ghana, and will this time be in honour of John Dramani Mahama - who recently assumed the big seat
The squad comprises of all Kotoko key players including their seven new captures namely; Aziz Haruna Dari, Joseph Amoah, Zackaria Fuseini, Seth Kwadwo, Hubert Gyau, Francis Acquah and Johnson Oppong Owusu - who will all hope to make a mark and also establish themselves as the supporter’s favourite from tomorrow’s game
The Porcupine Warriors have been in the capital for two days now training intensively for the game coming up having beaten lower division side Namoro Academy by 2-0 last Thursday at the Adako-Jachie training grounds, thanks to goals from newbies Seth Kwadwo and Johnson Oppong Owusu
The game is slated for 16:00GMT (4:00pm) at the Ohene Gyan Stadium tomorrow, July 6, 2025
