Newly-named Hearts of Oak coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has given insights on how the team’s preparations is going ahead of their highly-anticipated President Cup game against eternal rivals Asante Kotoko tomorrow
The President Cup is organized annually to celebrate every sitting President, and will this time be in honour of John Dramani Mahama - who recently assumed the big seat
The Rainbow Club due to the recent ban over the transfer of Salim Adams, have yet to announce any new rival even though they have reportedly contacted series of players while Asante Kotoko have already welcomed in seven new players into their set-up
Despite all these, the team has been in serious preparations at the Kpobiman training grounds as they look to be ready and poised for the big game coming up
Didi Dramani, who will be up against his former club tomorrow, says they will want to use this game to paint a fair idea of how he will want the ‘Phobians’ to play under his guidance and added his players are very much aware of how crucial the game is
“We assumed from the 23rd and we have to understand the team and what we have been working to understand what we have. I think it’s very good to have a moment of this kind and also to come up with the right maiden squad to showcase what the new Hearts of Oak will look like.
“Every player or coach in Ghana knows what it takes playing against arch rivals. The players themselves knows the relevance and importance of this game.”
