The Porcupine Warriors have been in intensive preparations towards the game having received of motivation including a monetary support and other promises from Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene
The team warned themselves up last Thursday with a preparatory friendly against lower-division side Namoro Academy - in a game they won by 2-1, courtesy goals from new captures Seth Kwadwo and Johnson Oppong Owusu, a game that gave Karim Zito a fair idea of how side are ready for the game
Speaking with the club’s media team, the experienced tactician said they are heading into the game with one main focus which is to win the trophy
“We have to do everything possible to win. This is my second time controlling a team to play the President’s Cup. We will use it to motivate ourselves and then go for the Cup,” Coach Zito said.
