Out-spoken football administrator, Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah has taken a huge swipe at Asante Kotoko SC, stating they don’t take anything serious as he believes they alongside Hearts of Oak should be calling the shots in Ghana football.

He made these comments on the back of the decision of the club to abstain from taking part in voting for the approval of the third term of the Ghana FA Presidency at the 31st Ordinary Congress held last week in Prampram.

“Kotoko is not a serious club at all. A big club like Kotoko cannot fail to cast its vote in a major decision such as the amendment of the GFA’s statutes.

“Meanwhile, their venue for the CAF Confederation Cup is still unknown at this time. They (Kotoko) need to start taking things seriously.”

Out of the 124 people eligible to vote, 114 voted in favour, while six voted against and three abstained, which means every GFA boss from henceforth is eligible to enjoy three terms which is a maximum of 12 years in office instead of the previous 8.
