Ahead of their Homowo Cup clash against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, August 11, at the Accra Sports stadium, head coach of Heart of Lions Bashir Hayford has re-echoed to Ghanaians that he's still got the expertise when it come to coaching.



The experienced tactician victoriously led Heart of Lions to remain in the Premier League after going through a fiery time in the first round of the 2023/24 season.



Speaking to ChannelOne TV, Hayford underscore why he still a brainiac in terms of football coaching and how's he's gearing up to the 2024/25 football season.


“I’m still alive, I’m still working, I’m still green. When I came back from Somalia, I decided to rest for a season," he said.



"People wrote them (Heart of Lions) off that they are gone; so I took the challenge and I was able to sustain them in the Premiership.



"It has given us the experience to thrive on, the experience to see what we can do to not enter into the same situation again.



“It will let Ghanaians know I’m still coaching, I’m still strong, I still have the knowledge, my knowledge now is so pure that I have matured with the knowledge."
