Member of the organizing committee for the 2024 Homowo Peace Charity Cup, Sammy Anim Addo has urged lovers of good football to troop to the stadium on Sunday and witness the play of new signings of the two participating teams.
The much looked-forward-to showdown will see Accra Hearts of Oak combatting Heart of Lions.
However, Anim Addo emphasised the necessity of the match, stressing that it will make a spectacle of the grand outdooring of the top stars both side's have signed ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
"This will be an exciting game, especially with the new players each team has signed. Lions have brought in Obeng Junior, a former Hearts player, while Hearts have added Benjamin Asare from Olympics and Ashie Quaye. Fans should come and see the talent on display," Anim Addo told Peace FM.
Before the Hearts and Lions game at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3pm - selected colts teams and Nii Ayi Bontey XI, and British High Commission XI will face each other (at 1pm) in a curtain raiser match.
