Ghana U20 coach Charles Sampson has called up 30 players to the Black Princesses training camp as they prepare for their FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Tunisia.
The squad, which will assemble at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Monday, includes Black Queens fullback Comfort Yeboah, who impressed at the recent Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, and U.S.-based defender Alexander Emefa Tay of Stanford University.
Also named are Al Ahly forward Mercy Attorbrah and Scrossopi midfielder Sania Sereboe, as Sampson looks to blend experience with emerging talent.
The Princesses are chasing an eighth successive qualification for the global showpiece.
Despite their consistency, the Black Princesses have never advanced beyond the group stage.
Sampson is expected to put the players through intensive drills and tactical assessments ahead of the two-legged tie.
