The Ghana senior women national team have landed safely at the Kotoka International Airport and were handed heroes welcome after booking a spot in Morocco for the next WAFCON.
The Black Queens are finally retuning to the continent's biggest women football competition after five-year absence without last appearance coming in 2018.
Nora Hauptle's girls wrapped up the qualifiers with a 3-2 on aggregate win over their counterparts from Namibia to book a spot in Morocco.
Having secured qualification, the team has received lots of congratulatory messages from the Youth and Sports Ministry and the GFA boss Kurt Okraku.
On top of that, the Queens touched down in the country few hours ago and were welcomed by a huge crowd at the airport.
The 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Morocco.
