The Black Starlets of Ghana wrapped up another busy day of preparations for the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations with two competitive friendlies honoured this morning, February 25, 2026.

The two-time world champions faced Division One League opponents Attram De Visser Academy and Golden Kick FC in back-to-back matches at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In the first game, the Ghana U-17 men edged Attram De Visser Academy by 2-1 but couldn’t continue with the same momentum having lost by 1-2 to Golden Kick FC in the second encounter.

These friendlies come after earlier positive outcomes including a slim 1-0 win over Port City and 2-0 against Semper Fi.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his deputy Nana Kweku Agyemang continues to use these games to test tactics, patch up all cracks and build confidence ahead of the upcoming continental showpiece.

The 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations kicks off in Morocco next month and will be the first for the Starlets in almost nine-year abeyance.
