The Black Stars have dropped to 73rd position worldwide in the latest Coca Cola FIFA Rankings following their abysmal performances recently.

Ghana have dropped three places on the list having moved from the 70th position to the 73rd position in the latest that was released earlier this morning.

This is on the back of their average display in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers- having drawn and lost in a double header against Sudan in the last international window.

The four-time African champions have been dipping on the rankings the whole of this year and only moved four places up in the June edition (from 68th to 64th) after wins over Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

After falling to the 70th spot in September, Ghana has now moved three places downwards and will definitely have to win their subsequent matches to rise back higher on the list.

The Black Stars will regroup next month to face Angola and Niger in their final two games to wrap up the qualifying series.
