Ghana head coach Otto Addo has reiterated his confidence in the talent within the Black Stars, asserting that the players possess the ability to play quality football and secure victories.

Speaking to the media team of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Addo highlighted the players' capabilities, referencing their performances in home matches against Angola and Sudan during the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

“I hope everyone who understands football has seen our home games against Nigeria, Angola, and Sudan in Accra. The players have what it takes. If we focus on our strengths and think consistently about how to leverage those strengths, we can play good football,” the Black Stars coach stated.

Addo added, “We have players who can combine good football with passion, which will help us move forward, even in this difficult situation. To be honest, I was feeling down over the last couple of days, but I’ve received a lot of positive feedback and support from family and friends.”

Despite the significant challenges Ghana faces in the AFCON qualifiers, Coach Otto Addo remains optimistic, believing that qualification is still within his team’s reach as they head into their final two matches in Group F.
