The Black Stars of Ghana held their first training session in their Abu Dhabi tour earlier today ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Coach Otto Addo named his final squad last Monday, and have already pitched camp in the Asian country and will later proceed to Qatar for the main competition.
The team had their first training with all players taking part as they hope to acclimatize to the weather condition which is very similar to that of Qatar.
Key players like captain Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, Kudus Mohammed, Tariq Lamptey, all featured and are looking really poised and ready for action.
The team will engage Switzerland in another high profile friendly on Thursday at the Baniyas Club Stadium to test their strength for the biggest global football competition.
Ghana is drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and two time world champions Uruguay. The competition commences on Saturday, November 20, 2022.
