The Black Stars are set to depart Nagoya for Seoul on Saturday, ahead of their second international friendly against South Korea on Tuesday.

This match comes after Ghana's 2-0 loss to Japan in the Kirin Challenge Cup on Friday, where midfielder Francis Abu suffered a serious injury.

Coach Otto Addo will travel with a 21-man squad, following Abu's injury. The team will hold three training sessions in Seoul before facing South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

This match is a crucial part of Ghana's preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.

The Black Stars are looking to bounce back from their loss to Japan and build momentum ahead of next year's World Cup, having secured qualification earlier this year.

Otto Addo's squad features a mix of experienced players and new faces, including debutants Prince Kwabena Adu, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Caleb Yirenkyi, Kelvin Nkrumah, Prince Owusu and Prince Osei Owusu.

The team is focused on improving their performance and cohesion, with the World Cup goals in sight.
