The Black Stars are scheduled to appear in a four nations tournament in the United Kingdom, as the team aims for more high quality matches.
Ghana who are currently having a great feeling after their superb performance in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. The Black Stars destroyed Chad 5-0 and pulled a 3-0 win over Madagascar in match-day 5 and 6.
The win against Chad and Madagascar helped Ghana to extend their lead at the top of Group I to 15 points, five above second-placed Madagascar.
However, Black Stars Management Committee Chairman, Randy Abbey disclosed the play they have made for the team ahead of the international break in June-July.
“Fortunately the technical team and the management will have an opportunity to further work on the team. Because in June, we don’t have qualifiers and so we will be playing in a four nation friendly in England. I’m sure that it will be an opportunity for the coaches to do some further work on the team. We are hoping that some of the players who are injured will also be back and will also be able to get an opportunity to play some two games before the September internationals," he told 3Sports.
This mini tournament will help the team to prepare well for the remaining World Cup qualifying matches slated to come off in September.
