Ghana U20 coach Samuel Boadu has announced a 20-man final squad list for the upcoming WAFU Zone B Boys Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The male national U20 team have left the shores of Ghana to battle it out for a slot in the next edition of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
Bechem United sensational winger Clinton Duodo made the squad list with Shadrach Addo of Asante Kotoko while Still Believe FC talismanic attacker Misbawu Aziz, who aided his side to secure Division One League promotion was also included.
Dreams FC duo Ofori McCarthy and Collins Boah are among the squad list for the tournament with Medeama SC youngster Kelvin Nkrumah as well as Aaron Essel, who was part of the recent Black Meteors' team that suffered group stage elimination of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Host Cote D’Ivoire are paired with Ghana, Niger and Burkina Faso in Group A whiles Togo square off with Benin in Group B following the withdrawal of Nigeria.
The tournament is scheduled for Abidjan from July 7-21, 2023.
