Black Stars assistant coach, George Boateng will serve as a pundit for beIN SPORTS at the 2022 World Cup, the Qatari Sports broadcasting giants have confirmed.

Quite surprisingly, the former Aston Villa coach is the only coach whose team is participating at the tournament.

He will join Kaka, Arsene Wenger, David Villa, Gary Neville, John Terry, Lothar Matthaus and a host of former footballers to cover the tournament.

George Boateng is one of the assistant coaches of Ghana together with Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, assisting Otto Addo in the November-December tournament.

Boateng resigned from his job at Aston Villa to concentrate on the Black Stars job in August.

Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in Group H.

Otto Addo is expected to name his provisional squad by the end of next week.

Ghana will face Switzerland on 17th November before jetting off to Qatar.

The Black Stars first game is against the Selecão of Portugal on 24th November.
