Ghanaian private owned multimedia company, iMax Media have secured the full right to telecast the 2022 WAFU U-17 Championship which is due to commence next month in Cape Coast.

iMax Media have been the sole broadcasters since extending their business in the West African nation owning Max TV- a free to air channel and two radio stations Maximum FM in Takoradi and Max FM in the capital.

They have been the main right holders of the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup for the past three years. Also, the Women's Premier League is also aired live including colts football thus the KGL U-17 Champions League which was held late last year and many more.

They just recently picked live feed from Niger directly to serve Ghanaians with live game coverage of the WAFU U-20 Championship which was held in Niamey and eventually won by the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.

Again, the right of the U-17 edition has been grabbed and will as usual be telecasted live on Max TV.

The competition will be held in Cape Coast from June 11 to June 24, 2022. The two finalists will cruise to the 2023 CAF U-17 Championship in Algeria.
