President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh has expressed his opinion on recent calls in the media that Ghana captain Andre Dede Ayew should be benched.
The renowned Man of God believes benching the former Marseille attack will only leave the entire team demoralized from giving out their best on the field of play as the team prepares for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
As the national is calling for patriotism and citizens contributing to the development of the country, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh sends a clarion call that there will be draw back from those with the ability to contribute to the forward march of the country.
Dede Ayew and his younger brother, Jordan, have come under excruciating criticism for their unbecoming attitude leaving them underperforming in the Black Stars jersey.
Lawrence Tetteh thinks it is all about envy and that all and sundry should rally behind him to work in unison to achieve the desired goals.
"If we bench him for the new players that have come, you’ve demoralized the team and people will not die for the country. So it doesn’t make sense at all.
"This notion that Ghanaians being jealous and envious of people's success we must stop it. Dede Ayew is a good footballer, he’s played very well and he is currently the captain. If you want to get the unity that we need." He told GTV.
