Libyan side Almoroj SC has completed the signing of veteran striker John Antwi following his impressive performances last season.
The former Pyramids and Al Ahly forward joins Almoroj SC on a permanent deal after his contract with Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC expired.
Antwi, who has spent most of his career on the African continent, is widely regarded as one of the top strikers of his generation. His goal-scoring prowess has made him a valuable asset for every club he’s played for.
The Ghanaian striker first rose to prominence at Ismaily SC in Egypt, where he became the league's top scorer. His success at Ismaily led to stints with major clubs such as Al Ahly and Al Shabab, where he further solidified his reputation as a reliable goal-scorer.
At Dreams FC, Antwi was a standout performer, playing a key role in the team's journey to the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup. His move to Almoroj SC represents a new chapter in his career, and he is expected to continue his legacy as a top striker while helping his new club achieve its ambitions.
