English Premier League side, Fulham FC have sent a goodwill message to their former defender John Paintsil after a car accident he had in his native Ghana over the weekend.
Paintsil, was part of the Black Stars technical team members that got involved in a horrific accident last Sunday on the Takoradi-Tarkwa road when returning to the capital, Accra, after watching the Ghana Super Cup game between FC Samartex and Nsoatreman FC at the new TnA Stadium.
The ex- West Ham full-back wasn't alone as he was in the car with head coach Otto Addo and goalkeeper's trainer Fatawu Dauda- who is also a former goalie of the senior national team, and all members luckily survived despite having some injuries.
With this, Fulham, where Paintsil played from the period of 2008-2011 and established himself as one of the fans favourite at the Craven Cottage, took to social media to wish their former defender a speedy recovery on the incident that happened.

Despite the injuries, the Black Stars are expected to train in few hours time from now to prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger, and hasn't been revealed as to whether the coaches will be available in today's session.
