Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, says they are fired and ready to face the parliamentarians in the pre-Democracy Cup match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The enthralling clash between the former Black Stars players and parliamentarians is a curtain raiser to the landmark event celebrating Ghana's flourishing democracy.
Hearts of Oak will battle Asante Kotoko in the maiden Democracy Cup slated for next week Wednesday, July 17.
The match is part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of Ghana's parliamentary democracy themed "30 Years of Parliamentary Democracy Under the 4th Republic: The Journey Thus Far."
In an interview with Asempa FM, Badu spoke about their readiness as former Black Stars players.
“We are ready. They have to do their training well because we are fit. We are doing our work on the pitch.
“We will beat them by a huge margin. They also said they will beat us but we are ready for them.”
