Former Hearts of Oak defensive midfielder Eric Nyarko is now the head coach of Tantra Hills Division Three side PARIN FC and has made a very bright start on the touchline.

The 42-year-old has led PARIN FC to eight wins, one draw and just one defeat in his first 10 matches in the Accra North District FA Division Three League.

Nyarko, who was known for his precisive passes as a defensive midfielder during his playing days, is already showing the same qualities as a coach, with his team producing consistent results.

His early success has raised optimism around PARIN FC as they push for a strong finish in the league, with Nyarko continuing to build his reputation in coaching after hanging up his boots.

Nyarko left Hearts of Oak, the 2000 African champions, to join former Hearts coach Eyal Lachman at Hapoel Ra’anana in Israel.

Before that, he also played for other Israeli clubs, including Hapoel Ashkelon in 2009 and Hapoel Kfar Saba FC.
