Army Ladies booked their place in the final of the 2025/26 Ghana Women’s FA Cup with an emphatic 5-1 win over FC Samartex Ladies at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.

Army Ladies showed their class in the second half, scoring four unanswered goals to pull away after Samartex had briefly drawn level. The debut semi-finalists put up a fight early on but could not maintain their momentum.

A crucial missed penalty by Samartex proved a turning point, as Army Ladies seized control and punished their opponents with clinical finishing.

After heading into halftime with a narrow 1-0 lead, Army Ladies stepped up their performance after the break, using their experience to dominate proceedings and secure a convincing victory.

They now await the winner between Hasaacas Ladies and Jonina Ladies in the final, as they aim to reclaim the title they last won in the 2022/23 season.
