Kurt Okraku has announced a new partnership between the Ghana Football Association and Metro Mass Transit Limited (MMTL) to help transport football supporters to match venues across the country.

Speaking about the initiative, the GFA president said Metro Mass Transit will provide transport services for fans attending games in the women’s league, Division One League, Ghana Premier League and national team matches.

“MMTL will support the movement of supporters to and from the venues of the women's division and the premier league, including the national teams,” Okraku said.

The partnership is expected to reduce transport difficulties faced by supporters, especially those travelling to away matches.

It is also part of the GFA’s wider plans to improve fan involvement and increase attendance at football matches across the country.

Although full details of the arrangement, including transport routes and possible costs, have not yet been announced, many football stakeholders have welcomed the move as a positive step toward making Ghana football more accessible to supporters.
