Ghana Football Association President, Kurt E.S Okraku, together with some members of the Black Stars technical team visited the Greater Accra Regional Hospital in the capital earlier today. 

The delegation also included head coach Otto Addo, assistant coaches Desmond Ofei, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, Alain Ravera and technical advisor Winfried Schaefer. 

During the visit, the contingent interacted and spent quality time with the mothers at the maternity ward who just delivered their newly-born babies. 

“We spent quality time with new mothers and their newborn babies”, GFA boss Kurt Okraku stated 

The visit aimed at creating awareness and engage the public ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and call for their support as the competition is set for four months from now. 

The Black Stars will face tough tests in the March international window where they will take on Austria on March 27, and Germany on March 30, all in pre- World Cup friendlies. 

They were also present at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to watch the Super-Clash between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak over the weekend.
