The preparation for the next Black Starlets team will receive another boast as they represent Ghana in an UEFA U16 four nation tournament scheduled to take place in Volgograd, Russia.
This youth development tournament is as a result of the Ghana Football Association’s partnership with UEFA and CAF.
Developing talents at the youth level is paramount to the GFA, and this tournament will offer the players an opportunity to showcase their talents, build further teamwork, and experience the thrill of competition.
The Black Starlets are currently at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, preparing for the tournament and the WAFU U17 CAF qualifying competition.
The Ghanaian team will participate in the competition together with host Russia, Serbia, and Kazakhstan in an all play all format.
The team will use this tournament as a preparation for the upcoming WAFU B U17 Boys Cup to be hosted in Accra.
The UEFA U16 four nation tournament will take place from April 23-29, 2024 in Volgograd, Russia
