Mohammed Salisu and Alidu Seidu faced an early exit in Ghana's match against Uganda on Tuesday.

The game concluded with a 2-2 draw, but Ghana finished with only nine players due to the dismissals of Salisu and Seidu.

Seidu's dismissal came after he vehemently demanded a yellow card for a Ugandan player who fouled Tariq Lamptey late in the match. Despite the referee's decision, Seidu persisted in his protests, leading to his expulsion from the game.

Even after the final whistle, Seidu continued to express his frustration towards the officials, requiring the intervention of team manager Ameenu Shadow to calm the situation.

Similarly, Salisu was also shown a red card for dissent, adding to the dramatic conclusion of the match.

The incidents reflect a concerning trend for Ghana, as it marks the third red card received by the team in the March international window.

Previously, Jerome Opoku, who scored Ghana's first goal against Uganda, was also sent off for dissent in the friendly against Nigeria.

These disciplinary issues pose a challenge for Ghana's new coach, Otto Addo, who prioritizes discipline and leadership within the team.

As Addo navigates his early tenure as head coach, addressing these disciplinary issues will be a key focus in the coming months. It is essential to instill a culture of discipline and respect among the players to ensure success on the field.
