The Black Stars heroics in the just-ended October international window has seen them jump two places up in the latest FIFA world rankings.
Previously, the four-time African champions were in 75th place but due to wins in their last two matches have now moved to the 73rd position but remain 14th on the continent.
Otto Addo’s men won by an emphatic 0-5 away at Central African Republic before wrapping up the qualifiers with a narrow 1-0 win over Comoros at the Ohene Gyan Stadi
Ghana finished the qualifiers as winners of Group I with 22 points, amassed from eight wins, a defeat and a draw to punch their ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be held in USA, Canada and Mexico.
The Black Stars will regroup again next month to take on Japan in the Kirin Challenge Cup and also against South Korea all in international friendlies
