The 30th Ordinary Session of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Congress will convene in August at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
This decision follows the authority granted to the Executive Council under Article 31(2) of the GFA Statutes 2019, which empowers the council to set the date and venue for Congress meetings.
As mandated, the Congress meets in Ordinary Session once per football season, usually before the season starts.
According to Article 31(3) of the GFA Statutes 2019, GFA Members will receive formal notice of the Convocation of Congress in writing at least ten days before the meeting date.
This notice will include the Agenda, Activity Report, Financial Statements, Auditors' Report, and other relevant documents.
The Executive Council will finalize the exact date for the upcoming Congress in their next meeting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements for convening Congress.
