Ghanaian forward Kwaku Karikari played a pivotal role in AC Horsens' 2-1 comeback victory over FC Fredericia in the Danish First Division on Saturday.
The 22-year-old netted his second league goal of the season, inspiring his team to triumph at the Monjasa Park in Fredericia.
The home side took an early lead in the 16th minute, courtesy of a goal from forward Oscar Buch. However, Karikari brought Horsens back into the game shortly after halftime, scoring in the 58th minute after connecting with a precise pass from defender Mikkel Kallesoe.
AC Horsens completed their comeback just two minutes before full-time, with Emil Frederiksen netting the winning goal to seal all three points for the visitors. Karikari, who was substituted in the 82nd minute for youngster Sanders Ngado, made a strong contribution to the victory.
With this performance, Karikari now has two goals and one assist in 11 league appearances for Horsens this season, along with a goal in two matches in the Landspokal Cup.
