The latest FIFA rankings has been released and Ghana maintained their position from the last one as they continue to lurk on the 60th spot worldwide.
The only difference is that, Ghana have had their points build-up risen this time, judging from the last one which was announced on July 20, where Ghana had 1391.13.
On the same 60th spot, Ghana now has 1404 points and with wins in their subsequent matches, they could climb up the list and prolly make the best ten in Africa.
Ghana saw an increase in their points after picking victories in their last two matches, where they won 2-1 over Central African Republic in the final game of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and a 3-1 win over Liberia in an international friendly.
Whiles Ghana continue to miss out on the top ten in Africa. Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt are the top five on the continent.
Overall, current world champions Argentina remain at the summit, followed by France, Brazil, England, Belgium and others.
The Black Stars will regroup to take on North American giants USA and Mexico in international friendlies in late October.
