GoldStars head coach Frimpong Manso has wasted no time plotting his next move after guiding the team to continental qualification, revealing that he already has a draft list of signings in mind for the club’s debut CAF Champions League campaign.
In a chat with Globe TV, Manso said he’s not leaving anything to chance, with player recruitment now his top priority as the newly crowned GPL champions prepares to fly Ghana’s flag on the African stage.
“We need to add to the squad because that is another level,” the experienced tactician disclosed.
“At every level, you need to add. We will see the kind of quality we want, whether experienced or youth. I have the draft there; we will answer all those questions as to who and who are coming.”
GoldStars stunned many with their impressive domestic campaign, winning the GPL title and sealed a ticket to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League.
But, Manso knows that continental football requires depth, experience, and squad balance, something he’s already hard at work assembling.
Kickgh.com can reveal that Manso is targeting a mix of seasoned local stars and battle-tested continental performers, especially in defense and midfield.
