Speaking in an interview, the 52-year-old strongly believes his assistants at Hasaacas Ladies are very good and can lead the team to success in the continental showpiece.
“We are okay. For me, I have able assistants taking care of Hasaacas Ladies and I’m very comfortable here too and we cooperate a lot. We do discuss about the training schedule and believe they would live up to expectation. So I think they are up to the task so I think I don’t have much concern about that.”
The 'Hasmal Ladies' are currently the Women's Premier League champions after beating rivals Ampem Darkoa Ladies by 2-1 in the final and have now gotten the opportunity to compete in the West African qualifying series.
They have been drawn in Group B alongside Nigerian champions Edo Queens, AS Grade Nationale from Niger and Burkinabe side Ominisports Entichele.
Hasaacas Ladies are the first Ghanaian club to play in the CAF Women's Champions League in the maiden edition in 2021- where they made it all the way to the final with a stunning performance but unfortunately lost the title to current holders Sundowns Ladies.
The WAFU Zone B qualifiers championship will run from August 8-23, 2024.
