Maverick Ghana football legend, Mohammed Polo has stated that Ghana football has thrown its foundation away because colts is not functioning like it used to previously.
The football colossus believes that its high time development of untapped talents is taken seriously as that will help in producing world class players to the various national teams.
“There was a base that is being followed but now that base is missing. That is the identity and every nation has an identity,” the former Hearts of Oak player told Asempa FM.
“We know how we play and because of that we were given the name Brazil of Africa and not because of anything, because of the similarity of our football.
“The world is changing and football is also changing. All that you have to do is when you have a brand, you have to develop it to give it some sort of additional value.”
