Ernest Nuamah Appiah, the Nordsjaelland winger who played a pivotal role in the Black Meteors' 2-1 aggregate victory over Algeria in the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations final qualification round, has been praised by Ghanaian football legend Asamoah Gyan.
Although Nuamah, who wore jersey number three (3), did not score in the game, he assisted both of Abdul Fatawu Issahaku's goals across the two legs.
Many Ghanaians have praised the quality of football displayed by the duo, with Gyan being the latest to acknowledge Nuamah's skills.

Ghana U23, led by Ibrahim Tanko, will be participating in their second U23 Africa Cup of Nations at the Morocco tournament later this year, following their maiden participation in 2019.
Nuamah Appiah joined Nordsjaelland in January 2022 from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana.
