Hearts of Oak forward Mawuli Wayo was happy scoring in their FA Cup round 32 win against Home Stars.
Wayo struck his side's first goal in the second period after a blank first half, with Enoch Asubonteng and Kwabena Boateng Afriyie scoring the second and third goals, respectively, as Hearts of Oak won 3-0 in Sunday's mid-afternoon kickoff.
The youngster later said: "So glad, I found the back of the net today, taking my tally to three (3), making me the leading scorer in this year's MTN FA cup, so far.
"I am most grateful to the Almighty, the playing body, technical men, supporters, my family, and all and sundry who have in diverse ways supported my journey this far."
Hearts of Oak will now shift their attention to their upcoming Ghana Premier League matchday 17 fixture against defending champions, FC Samartex on Sunday, January 19, at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
