Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew is reportedly set for a dramatic Ghana comeback after a ten-months imposed exile on his head by head coach Otto Addo.
The Le Havre forward has hit the ground running with his new club, as he goes from strength to strength in the attacking position for Didier Digard's cellar dwelling side.
However, Andre Ayew's versatility is increasingly being missed by the Black Stars after coach Otto Addo decided to rule him out of selection on several occasions in his second spell in charge of the senior national team.
The 35-year-old last played for his national team in March last year, featuring in international friendly games against Nigeria and Uganda.
However, Andre was initially dropped from the Black Stars squad for the June 2024 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.
The former Marseille, Swansea and Al Sadd star has not played for Ghana since, following Otto Addo's refusal to consider him for selection, but the 35-year-old exciting player is in line to make a comeback once again ahead of the continuation of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March, Kickgh.com can report.
In November last year, regardless of not dolling out a call-up to the experienced forward, Addo reiterated that Andre could still return to the fold of the national team.
