Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has given indication of a possibility of playing for Ghana after talks with FIFA is deep to complete his nationality switch.
In an interview with BBC, the Chelsea loanee to Bayer Leverkusen leaves answers unclear as he readies, from all indications, to switch nationality to Ghana.
Ghana has been on a chase for the Ghanaian descent after he had been neglected countlessly by the English FA for the Three Lions.
Ghana is ahead in preparation for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the latest reports indicate Callum Hudson-Odoi's name has been added to the preliminary squad of 36 players submitted to FIFA.
He will need FIFA clearance in November before he can fully make his debut for Ghana.
"Nothing I would say at the moment on camera, I would love to tell you, but I couldn't say. At the moment it's more just focusing on the best I can do here. You never know what will happen in the future."
Callum Hudson-Odoi joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen during the summer transfer window on a season loan deal from Chelsea and has since been impactful for the German club.
