Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku has promised that the Black Stars will be ready for the World Cup.
Ghana will flex their muscles with Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stage.
Ghana will play their opener against Portugal on 24th November, after their final preparatory game on 17th November against Switzerland.
Ghana lost to Brazil by 3:0 before making amends in their 1:0 victory over Nicaragua in an international friendlies last month.
Otto Addo, Black Stars head coach, is expected to submit his squad for the World Cup to FIFA today.
Majeed Ashimeru, Jeffrey Schlupp, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Danlad Ibrahim, Salis Abdul Samed have all been named in the provisional squad, according to Kickgh sources.
Kurt Okraku insists that Ghana will be ready for the mundial in Qatar.
"Our plan is to open our trainings camp in Abu Dhabi on November 10 where the team will camp for about nine days before we depart for the tournament," Kurt Okraku said as quoted by ghanafa.org.
"The Black Stars will play against Switzerland in our final preparatory match on November 17, before we depart for Doha the next day for the World Cup.
"Mr. President, I must say that we greatly appreciate the support from your good self and the government throughout this journey and would like to assure you that Ghana will be ready for mundial come November 2022.
"The technical team will be ready, the staff will be ready, the players will be ready and Ghana will be ready," he concluded.
