Astute Ghanaian politician Haruna Iddrisu has stated that newly approved Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams is undoubtedly competent.
Parliament approved the Appointment of Kofi Adams, preparing the way for him to be sworn into office by President John Dramani Mahama to begin work as Minister of Sports and Recreation in the new government.
On Tuesday night, a report of the Appointment Committee on the vetting of Kofi Adams was laid before Parliament and adopted by the House.
According to Iddrisu - who doubles as the owner of Ghana Premier League side' Karela United the Minister is capable and has the necessary skills to live up to President John Dramani Mahama's expectations.
“I have no doubt that Kofi Adams will make President John Dramani Mahama proud as Sports Minister,” Haruna Iddrisu stated on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday, February 4.
