Owner of Division One League side Elmina Sharks, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has alluded to the potential of ceasing participation in the Division One League after a contentious 1-0 defeat to Swedru All Blacks on Sunday at the Nduom Sports Stadium.

The match-day 17 clash on February 16 was plunged into caos after players and match officials assaulted the centre referee Eso Doh Morrison.

Dr. Nduom voiced his displeasure on GTV Sports+, disclosing he is rethinking his association in Ghana Football.

“I am considering whether to continue having this team in the league. It isn’t worth it. I don’t do it for money or anything else. We do it for opportunities," he said.

“We have players who are playing in Egypt and other places. They are doing well and have money. Do we have to suffer these sorts of indignities?” he quizzed.
