Ghana Football Association(GFA) Vice President, Mark Addo says he doesn't know the budget for the Black Stars World Cup, as he insists that they submitted it long time ago.
The West Africans are in the same group together with Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stages.
Monetary issues have bedevilled the Black Stars for a long time. The Government and the Football Association are yet to announce the budget for the World Cup.
Last week, the Black Stars management committee vice chairman Akwasi Agyemang revealed that the players will receive qualification bonuses instead of the perennial winning bonuses.
Otto Addo's provisional squad is yet to be officially made public after submitting it to FIFA.
Kickgh.com sources revealed last month that Majeed Ashimeru, Jeffrey Schlupp, Salis Abdul Samed, Danlad Ibrahim and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh have all been named in the initial squad.
Mark Addo, who doubles as the Black Stars management committee chairman, said he doesn't know the budget off head after submitting it long time ago.
"Top of my head, I don’t know. It’s a long time ago," he told Citi Sports.
"If I tell you that I know at the top of my head, I will be lying to you.
“Whatever budget we submitted a long time ago, the Ministry also has to add certain contingencies and other aspects of it which we don’t control.
“So I cannot for the life of me begin to guess. But, I believe whatever the Minister, I have heard a couple of soundbites, he is talking about. We plan to go as far as the final sow hopefully, he puts all that in," he added.
