Former Asante Kotoko left back Imoro Ibrahim has officially said goodbye to his teammates as he joined them in Accra at their training base to bid farewell.
The young left back has joined Al Hilal Ormdurman in Sudan on a permanent deal in a deal worth $410,000 on a long term deal where he will help them partake and compete gallantly in the CAF Champions League.
He was unveiled by his new side last week where left to complete the move after Black Galaxies' second leg encounter against Benin in Cotonou followed by an official announcement by both sides.
Imoro Ibrahim joined Asante Kotoko from Karela FC in 2020 and became an integral member of the team helping them win the Ghana Premier League in the 2021/22 season after eight years drought.
His eight assist and five goals for the club last season was enough to aid the Porcupine Warriors a place in the next CAF Champions League games.
However, he will be featuring for another side competing in the same competition he qualified Asante Kotoko for in Al Hilal Ormdurman.
He will join his new side in the coming days to officially start training with them after saying goodbye to Asante Kotoko on Wednesday.
Asante Kotoko will move to Turkey on Monday, 15 August, 2022 to continue their preseason ahead of their 2022/23 campaign.
